The above royal blue glass tile floors and walls gives this bathroom a luxurious look and feel.

This above bathroom is truly a work of art. The different hues of blue help play into the shades in the painting over the bathtub.

Looking for more closet space, transform your bathroom into a dressing room.

We love how designer Vicente Wolf placed the bathtub inside the glassed-in shower in the above photo. He vision of making the cast-concrete tub “a sculptural focal point” is well played.

President Obama’s Oval Office finally gets a makeover

The Oval Office was revamped last week while the First Family was in Martha’s Vineyard. A design team, led by designer to the stars, Michael Smith, adorned the Oval Office with a neutral color palette. Shifting away from the typical red, white and blue motif, President Obama’s office is done in browns and beiges with custom coffee-colored leather sofas. The piece d’ resistance is the custom-made rug with quotes from some of our most inspiring luminaries such as Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Designers are taking a cue from the politicians and remain split on what they think of the redo. Interior designer Mario Buatta, as quoted in The Washington Post, finds the sofas too casual and notes a relative lack of “regard for… history and tradition.”
